<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piercing terminal of high crimping reliability, capable of improving penetrability with respect to a flat circuit body, even if a conductor part is thick in the flat circuit body. SOLUTION: An electric wire crimping part 20 is formed by respectively differing protruding heights of a plurality of pawl pieces 15, 16 and 17. The electric wire crimping part 20 can also be formed, by respectively making protruding heights of the plurality of claw pieces 15, 16 and 17 in pairs different. Cutout parts 25 are formed between the plurality of pawl pieces 15, 16 and 17 which are adjacent in the longitudinal direction X of the base 11. The plurality of claw pieces 15, 16 and 17 are formed, so that an imaginary line connecting their vertexes gradually inclines as it nears an end part of the base 11 in the longitudinal direction X. Using such a composition, even when there are a plurality of claw pieces 15, 16 and 17, the claw pieces 15, 16 and 17 will bite into the flat circuit body in the order of the height, shearing force per claw piece will increase, and the penetrability of the claw pieces 15, 16 and 17 to the flat circuit body is improved.</p> |
