PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector that can be reliably connected to a mating electric connector and can improve the waterproofness of a connection part. SOLUTION: The electrical connector comprises an electrically connecting housing with a first and a second end at least one axial bore, at least one electrical connection part held in the axial bore, an outer casing having a mounting portion fixed to the first end of the electrically connecting housing and a tubular portion radially spaced from the second end of the electrically connecting housing to form an annular space against the second end of the electrically connecting housing, and an annular seal member, formed from an elastic and compressible material and disposed in the annular space. The tubular portion has a radially, inwardly extending projection with an abutment surface oriented in separating direction from the second end of the electrically connecting housing. |
