PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens frame which can be made compact and light in weight or a zoom camera equipped with the zoom lens frame. SOLUTION: This zoom lens frame 100 is a zoom lens frame constituted of five stages, and has a straight advance frame 103 as a cylinder member at the second stage and a rotating cylinder 104 as a cylinder member at the third stage. The frame 103 has a straight advance guiding plate part 116, and a male helicoid screw 114 is provided on the outer periphery of the plate part 116. A female helicoid screw 115 fit to the screw 114 is provided on the inner periphery of the cylinder 104. When the cylinder 104 is relatively rotated to the frame 103, it is extended while rotating by the helicoid screws. Since the screw 114 is provided on the plate part 116, the collapsible length of the lens frame 100 is shortened and the lens frame is made compact and light in weight.
