PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a viewer experiencing difficulties in direct selecting of a channel and its taking time for display of a television broadcasting desired by the user on the screen of a television receiver as the number of channels becomes larger than the number of selection buttons due to an advance in multi-channel, because a conventional television receiver can store only one type of preset data. SOLUTION: This television receiver is provided with a storing means for storing a plurality of TV setting information files, at least having channel setting data. By the channel setting data, selection numbers for respectively identifying a plurality of selecting means which are provided, so that selecting information each selecting any one of the television broadcast can be outputted, are correlated with channel numbers for specifying the television broadcast.
