PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for olefin polymerization. SOLUTION: This olefin polymerization catalyst is prepared by combining a transition metal complex represented by formula (1) (wherein M<1> is a transition metal of group 4, M<2> is a transition metal of group 6, Cp<1> and Cp<2> are independently a group having a cyclopentadiene type anion skelton, X<1> and X<2> show independently a halogen, a 1-20C alkyl group, a 7-20C aralkyl group, a 6-20C aryl group, or a (R<1> )2 N group, and Cp<1> , and X<1> and X<2> may arbitrarily bond to form a ring), an organic aluminum compound, etc.
