GRAFT POLYESTER RESIN, ITS WATER DISPERSION, METHOD FOR PRODUCING WATER DISPERSION AND COATING FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin for coating the inner surface of a can which does not contain an endorine disrupter such as bisphenol A and excels in processability. SOLUTION: The polyester resin is a resin obtained by graft polymerizing a radically polymerizable monomer having a hydrophilic group on to a copolyester resin, and the radically polymerizable monomer comprises at least acrylic acid and ethyl acrylate at a weight ratio of acrylic acid to ethyl acrylate of <=0.4, and the amount of the copolyester resin based on the graft polyester resin is less than 75 wt.%. This graft polyester resin easily becomes a stable water dispersion by neutralization with a basic compound.
