摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive liquid crystal display device by making the mounting range of a liquid crystal driving semiconductor chip smaller, thinner, and more compact. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is provided with a liquid crystal driving semiconductor chip 4 and a multi-layered substrate which has a first layer 1 to which the liquid crystal driving semiconductor chip 4 is connected, and a second layer 2 laminated on the first layer. The multi-layered substrate has input wiring 5 connected to the liquid crystal driving semiconductor chip 4 and output wiring 8 connected to the liquid crystal driving semiconductor chip 4 on the surface of the first layer 1 and has bus wiring 10 connected to the input wiring 5 on the surface of the second layer 2. The first layer projects from the edge of the second layer, and a connection terminal 13 connected to the output wiring 8 through a through hole 9 is provided on the face opposite to the face where the output wiring 8 exists, in the projecting part of the first layer.</p>
