PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening method using a bolt capable of aligning a screw hole and a bolt inserting hole just by screwing the bolt in the screw hole, and easily aligning each screw hole and bolt inserting hole when concurrently fastening a plurality of places by bolts. SOLUTION: The bolt 21 with a tapered part 24 where a head 23 side is diametrally larger than a male screw shaft 22 provided between the male screw shaft 22 and a head 23 is used. The bolt inserting hole 26 is provided in one of two members fastened by the bolt 21, and the screw hole 26 for screwing the male screw shaft 22 is provided in the other. By identically setting an inner diameter of the bolt inserting hole 26 and an outer diameter of a head side large diameter end of the tapered part 24, the bolt inserting hole 26 and the screw hole 25 are aligned by centering action by fitting of the tapered part 24 and the bolt inserting hole 26 when fastening the two members by screwing the bolt 21.
