PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work method for board-shaped members for enhancing the resistance to earthquake, a supporting member to be used for the work method, and attaching construction for the board-shaped member. SOLUTION: Supporting members (10, 20 and 30) are fixed to a worked surface 6 such as wall surface or the like, then both the upper and lower end portions of the board-shaped members 1 are linked to the supporting members (supporting bodies 10, 20 and 30) and the board-shaped members 1 are attached to the worked surface 6. Both the upper and lower end portions of the board- shaped member 1 can be strongly supported by the worked surface 6 through the supporting members (supporting bodies 10, 20 and 30).
