<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detection device capable of improving detection accuracy of a detection object at a small distance which is standing still or moving slowly, and having a comparatively simple device constitution and a comparatively low cost. SOLUTION: This device has one transmission part for transmitting a radio wave to the object, and two or more reception parts for receiving a reflected wave from the object. The device also has a phase difference generation means for generating the phase difference so that each phase of output signals outputted from each reception part does not agree completely with each other, and a frequency extraction part for extracting two specific frequency bands from one output signal outputted from the reception part. In the device, not only the output signals having different phases but also the output signals having a specific frequency band are taken out. Determination of approaching/ separation is performed relative to the signal having a high frequency, and the signal having a low frequency is used as an auxiliary output signal for the output signal having a different phase, to thereby detect existence of the object more accurately.</p> |
