PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printer for a TAB tape which is not deformed as bend, sag or the like of an inner lead according to a squeegee pressure and which is further not contaminated or damaged at a surface to be bonded. SOLUTION: The screen printer for the TAB tape mounts the TAB tape 1 at a printing stage 3, and moved the squeegee 6 to transfer a solder resist 2 from a through-hole of a screen mask 4 onto a conductor pattern 2c. Then, the inner lead 1d is projected into a device hole 1b of an insulation film 1a to restrict an opening smaller than the hole 1b. Since a protrusion 3b smaller than the opening is formed opposite to the opening at the stage 3, an emulsion surface of the mask 4 is contacted directly with the protrusion 3b during printing, and hence the squeegee pressure is not applied to the lead 1d. Accordingly, the lead 1d is not deformed such as bend, sag, etc., and the surface to be bonded is not contaminated nor damaged.
