PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal crimping machine and a terminal crimping method that can crimp and connect flat circuit bodies, having different thicknesses and ensure high contact reliability and crimping reliability. SOLUTION: A crimper 25 has a recessed crimping portion 26 opposed to an anvil 18, and the crimping portion 26 has a pair of concave portions 26a with a concave surface and a convex portion 26b with a convex surface positioned between the pair of concave portions 26a, and boundary portions 26c between the pair of concave portions 26a and the convex portion 26b are connected by a smooth curved surface. A pair of claws 34 projected from the flat circuit body 46 are curved inward in conformance to the concave portions 26a of the crimping portion 26 of the crimper 25, and the pair of claws 34 are successively curved in a direction opposite to the curve direction in conformance to the convex portion 26b of the crimping portion 26. Point portions 34b of the claws 34 are intruded into a gap between the flat circuit body 46 and the convex portion 26b of the crimper 25.
