PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain hole structure of an oil pump allowing efficient use of a space without providing another drain hole in the oil pump. SOLUTION: The drain hole structure of the oil pump 1 is provided in which clearance S is disposed between a driving shaft 3 of an inner gear 4 of the oil pump 1 and the inner gear 4, the clearance S serving as the drain hole 11. A substantially rectangular shaft inset hole 9 is disposed in the central part of the inner gear 4, cross section of an insert part 10 of the driving shaft 3 of a moor is formed in a substantially rectangular shape, the shaft insert hole 9 is engaged with the insert part 10 of the driving shaft 3 at a width across flat when the insert part 10 of the driving shaft 3 of the motor is inserted into the insert hole 9 in the inner gear 4, and the clearances S as the drain holes 11 are disposed on both sides of the insert hole 9.
