<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain easy, and neat removal of an insulation coating, which has heat resistance and cannot be easily removed, without need for cutting the wire. SOLUTION: In this stripper for removing the insulation coating of the wire, a pair of grip parts 1 parallel to each other are jointed by a U-shaped bent part 2 capable of elastic deformation. A pair of the grip parts 1 has facing surfaces 4 approaching each other at their front end parts. A pair of the facing surfaces 4 has a clearance 5 for inserting the wire, in a condition where the grip parts 1 do not grasp. A pair of the facing surfaces 4 is a file surface, having protrusion/recession for filing the surface of the wire and stripping off the insulation coating of the wire. The wire is inserted between a pair of the facing surfaces 4, the grip parts 1 are gripped, and the facing surfaces 4 are pressed against the surface of the wire and are moved along the wire to remove the insulation coating with the file surface.</p> |
