PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design manual of a dwelling front used as a common recognition means for a designer in order that a house manufacture contrives the design of an optimum dwelling having unity according to a row of stores and houses on a street and quickly design it by using the design manual. SOLUTION: Dwelling planar shapes 3A, 3B are concretely displayed in a few kinds of figures on the basis of a planar plan regulation 2 of a dwelling by being divided into a Japanese type and a western type. The front of an external appearance constitution part of a dwelling such as a few kinds of different roofs 6A, 6B, elevations 9A, 9B, outer walls 12A, 12B and windows 15A, 15B in accordance with the planar shapes 3A, 3B are figured and displayed on the basis of each regulation of the design concerning the external appearance constitution part of the dwelling such as a roof regulation 5, an elevation regulation 8, an outer wall section regulation 11 and a window section regulation 14.
