PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-core parallel extrafine coaxial cable having a high shielding effect and a sufficient flexibility for wiring in a narrow space. SOLUTION: This cable is composed of two cores 4a, 4b of parallel wires in which the outer periphery of the inner conductors 2a, 2b is covered by insulators 3a, 3b, a laterally wound shield 5 applied to the outer periphery of these two cores 4a, 4b, a composite tape 8 in which a metal vapor deposition layer 7 is formed on one face of a plastic tape 6 and which is wound on the outer periphery of the laterally wound shield 5 so that the metal vapor deposition layer 7 becomes the laterally wound shield 5 side, and composed of a jacket 9 covered on the outer periphery of the composite tape 8.
