PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of switches as a most significant feature in a switched capacitor DAC for converting a digital quantity to an analog quantity by using the electric charges of a capacitor. SOLUTION: For example, 2N 101a-101n of the same size (capacitance) for expressing N bits are parallel connected two by two. Thus, overlapped switches or control signal lines for opening/closing switches can be integrated/discarded for each pair of capacitors 101a, 101b, 101c, 101d,..., 101n-1 and 101n.
