PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide body which is produced with high productivity, is excellent in optical efficiency, besides is inexpensive, has excellent practicability and is used for a surface light source device and, at the same time, to provide the surface light source device using the light guide body and a liquid crystal display device using the surface light source device as a backlight source. SOLUTION: In the light guide body 11 used for the surface light source device and making at least one side end part 11a to be a light incident surface and one surface to be a light emitting surface 11b, the light guide body 21 is characterized by being formed with a crystalline thermoplastic resin. |
