PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the exposure of a large cassette to the outside of the device with a mechanism of varying the kick-out stroke utilizing a difference in the thickness of the cassette. SOLUTION: This device is so constituted that a sub-cassette carrier having means for detaining the large cassette can be moved relatively with a cassette carrier for the small cassette. The stroke is made smaller and the exposure of the large cassette to the outside of the device is minimized by temporarily stopping the sub-carrier.
