PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition for a ball joint, not only having excellent torque performance in the ball joint at ordinary temperature, but also having excellent torque performance at a low temperature, and to provide the ball joint for which the lubricant composition is used. SOLUTION: This lubricant composition for the ball joint contains (A) a synthetic hydrocarbon oil having a kinematic viscosity of 5-50 mm<2> /s at 100 deg.C in an amount of 20-80 wt.%, (B) a fatty acid salt of a compound expressed by the formula (1): R<1> -NH-R<2> -NH2 (R<1> is a 1-24C hydrocarbon group; and R<2> is a 2-4C alkylene) in an amount of 10-60 wt.%, and (C) a diamide compound in an amount of 5-30 wt.%, wherein a ratio of content of the component (A) to the component (B) is in the range of 0.5-6. The ball joint is equipped with a metallic ball stud and a polyethylene sheet as a sheet material, and filled with the lubricant composition. |
