PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce random noise in a photoelectric converter. SOLUTION: In this photoelectric converter, the output terminal of a photoelectric converting means is connected to the input terminals of a reset means and an amplifying means, and a charge transfer means is connected to the output terminal of the amplifying means; the other terminal of the charge transfer means is connected to the capacity and the gate of a source follower amplifier, and the source of the source follower amplifier is connected to a channel selecting means; and the other terminal of the channel selecting means is connected to a common signal line, and the common signal line is connected to a current source.
