PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a glass composition which is useful as a bulkhead forming material for PDP(plasma display panel), and to provide a bulkhead and PDP utilizing the composition. SOLUTION: The glass composition for forming a bulkhead of a PDP contains a mixture of 30 to 70 wt.% glass powder having a softening point of 480 to 500 deg.C, and a composition consisting of, by weight, 65 to 75% PbO, 1 to 10% B2 O3 , 10 to 20% SiO2 , 0.1 to 7% Al2 O3 and 1 to 5% ZnO, and 30 to 70 wt.% glass powder having a softening point of 510 to 530 deg.C, and a composition of 50 to 60% PbO, 1 to 5% B2 O3 , 30 to 40% SiO2 , 0.1 to 7% Al2 O3 , 0 to 5% ZnO, 0.1 to 5% TiO2 , 0 to 5% ZrO2 and 3 to 10% R2 O (R=Li, Na or K) as bulkhead forming glass components. The bulkhead for the PDP is formed of the glass composition burned body, and the PDP has the bulkhead.
