PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape measuring method of a separator for fuel cell, capable of accurately measuring thickness and warpage in a formed state, as it is. SOLUTION: This shape measuring method of the separator for the fuel cell comprises a process of holding the edge of the separator 11 for the fuel cell with a plurality of holding members 12 installed in a stood first substrate 13 and measuring the warpage of the separator 11 with noncontact displacement sensors 14, 14; and a process of interposing the separator 11 between two second substrates having a cutout part or a hole part and pressing, and measuring the thickness of the separator, in a pressed state with the noncontact displacement sensors through the cutout part or the hole part. Therefore, by vertically holding the separator, the influence of the outside force on the separator is very much reduced, the warp in a formed state of the separator is accurately measured, and by pressing the separator with two second substrates, almost the whole of the separator is made flat with no warpage, and in this state, the thickness of the separator is measured precisely. |
