METHOD FOR FIXING DROP OPTICAL FIBER TO CLOSURE, CLAMP AND BRACKET FOR THE FIXING AND CLOSURE PROVIDED WITH THE BRACKET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply fix a drop optical fiber to a closure without giving an excessive side pressure to the optical fiber core. SOLUTION: Drop optical fibers 5 are clamped with a plastic clamp 4 which has a rib 2 for clamping a plurality o cables and has a projection for fixing clamp 3 and is foldable at a hinge part 1, and the drop optical fibers are inserted into a groove 9 of a bracket 8 furnished in a closure and in which groove a recessed part 10 is provided on both sides in the width direction at the deepest part of the groove in the direction that the width of the groove is expanded, and the drop optical fibers 5 are fixed on the closure by pressing the projection for fixing clamp 3 against the recessed part 10 by means of a repulsive elastic force of the clamp 4.
