PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote distribution of an IP (design assets) used in a semiconductor chip. SOLUTION: A registration IPSDB 11 for registering the IP specifications of a prepared IP, a registration IPDDB 12 for registering the requested specifications of a needed IP, an IPDB 13 for managing and storing the all design information by the IP specification and the IP request specification an evaluation DB 14 for storing evaluation information about the registered IP, and a released IPDB 15 for storing releasable IP information, and the IP request specification are provided. When the IP is used by an IP user 2, a semiconductor manufacturer 3 returns an IP utilization charge, collected from the IP user 2, to an IP producer 1. |
