PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion trap maws spectrometer wherein the temperature of an end cap electrode and a ring electrode, which form ion trap space, can be fully equalized. SOLUTION: By using a heating block 4 of an approximately cylinder type, which is made from a material that has electric insulation and comparatively rich thermal conductivity, end cap electrodes 1 and 2 and a ring electrode 3 for forming the ion trap space TS are stored in this heating block. By heating the heating block 4 with two or more heaters 5, the end cap electrodes 1 and 2 and the ring electrode 3 are made so that they may be heated and maintained at a uniform temperature. At this point, by installing temperature sensors 7 to each the end cap electrodes 1 and 2 and the ring electrode 3, respectively, the current supplied to the heaters 5 are made to be controlled by the detection result of the temperature by the sensors. Since each the electrodes are uniformly heated with sufficient accuracy, analysis accuracy improves greatly. |
