PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining device having strength without producing mutual rotation of a column and a horizontal member like the conventional tenon joint. SOLUTION: A bolt lever 3 of a bolt fitting 1A protruding the bolt lever 3 on a metal board 2 is penetrated in a joining board 8 of a joining hardware 7 through the horizontal member 4, and a nut 11 is screwed and tightened on the edge protruded from the joining board 8 to fix the joining hardware 7 on the horizontal member 4. A joining plate 12 protruded from the horizontal member 4 of the joining hardware 7 constituted to protrude the joining plate 12 to the joining board 8 is fitted to and inserted in a slit 15 provided on the upper face of a column 14 through the nut 11 and fixed on the column 14 with a drift pin 20 fitted and inserted from the outside of the column 14.
