The ceramic disc cartridge valve for a water mixer has a housing for a first fixed disc and a second movable disc which has a surface engaging that of the first. The surfaces are complementary and the second disc surface has two cavities (36C,M) which are connected and open into the lower surface to selectively connect ports. The cavities are independent and open axially and are connected by an electrovalve.
