PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and enhanced image processing unit and method that allows a user to take a digital image into a frame without excess effort with a visually comfortable method. SOLUTION: The method automatically generating a digital image (24) with a frame includes a step (104) of analyzing art of a set of 1st data representing rows (7) and columns (8) of pixels (19) of a digital image (22) without a frame and identifying at least one image characteristic of the digital image, a step (106) of determining at least one frame attribute on the basis of at least one image characteristic, a step (108) of generating a set of 2nd data denoting the rows (7) and the columns (8) of the pixels (19) of the digital image (24) with the frame, and a step where the pixels specify indication of the digital image (22) without the frame surrounded by frames (26) with at least one frame attribute. |
