PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly migrate a subscriber between networks, on the basis of different technology. SOLUTION: If a second network is ready for traffic, when the subscriber is migrated from a first network to a second network, connection from another network to the first network, is transferred efficiently to the gateway mobile switching center(GMSC) of the second network. All calls for the first network and the second network are directed to GMSC of the second network, which queries the home location register(HLR) of the second network for obtaining routing information. When the subscriber is provided and activated at HRL, the call is routed within the second network. When the subscriber is not provided or activated by HLR, the call is routed to the first network.
