PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for performing radio communication between unknown first and second communication equipments (10 and 20) by using short- distance RF technology. SOLUTION: The first communication equipment (10) transmits a first message for discovering the address of the second communication equipment (20), (31), the second communication equipment receives the first message (32), generates a second massage containing the address of the second communication equipment in response to the first message and transmits it to the first communication equipment (33). Connection establishment process (35-38) are performed for establishing the connection between the first and second communication equipment. During the connection establishment process or in response to the completion of the connection establishment process, at least one of first and second communication equipment (10 and 20) is switched from a first mode to a second mode and the communication equipment switched to the second mode does not respond to the message transmitted for discovering the address of that communication equipment.
