摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a compressor used in an absorption heat pump in which the suction end of the compressor is connected to a regenerator and, at the same time, to enable the heat pump to surely obtain a large quantity of evaporation without loading the solution heating heat source of the regenerator. SOLUTION: The absorption heat pump 20 makes water (refrigerant) evaporated by means of an evaporator 21 to be absorbed into a lithium bromide solution (absorbing solution) in an absorber 22 while the pump 20 circulates the solution between the absorber 22 and regenerator 23. A discharge path 27 and furthermore the suction end of the compressor 24 are connected to the upper part (one portion) of the refrigerator 23, and an injection path 28 is connected to the lower part (the other portion) of the regenerator 23. The regenerator 23 is formed in a vertically long shape and the solution is fed into the upper part of the regenerator 23 after the solution is heated by means of a heat source 50 and discharged from the lower part of the regenerator 23. When the compressor 24 is operated, air (gas) is injected into the lower part of the regenerator 23 from the injection path 28 and rises through the lithium bromide solution as bubbles. While the bubbles rise, water molecules evaporate into the bubbles from the solution. Since the regenerator 23 is narrow and long, the agitation of the solution can be prevented even when bubbles are injected into the regenerator 23 and the steam pressure on the connection side with the discharge path 27 can be maintained at a high level without loading the heat source 50.
