PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost starting device of an appliance interlocked with an ignition device, in which an ignition action can be detected surely, and wiring or piping to peripheral devices is eliminated. SOLUTION: A noise receiver of an actuator B receives a spark noise D generated in discharge sparks of a discharging electrode A for igniting the burning appliance. Waveform of received spark noise D is shaped, and the pulse is counted to compute the pulse frequency. When the frequency agrees with frequency of discharge by the ignition device, it is recognized that the ignition device has actuated, and actuation signals are transmitted from an actuation signal-output device to a peripheral device C.
