PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To represent various image effects, game scenes, etc., of, for example, a computer graphic image and a video game image without increasing the processing load on a graphic plotting device nor using any special program. SOLUTION: A plurality of raw materials (textures) which are to be allocated to the same polygon and have different colors, patterns, and designs are prepared and textures corresponding to a virtual viewpoint and the distances of polygons 74 to 76 are selected out of the different textures, and the polygons 74 to 76 corresponding to those distances are allocated to the polygons 74 to 76 and mapped.
