The mounting for attaching the end of the sleeve of a Bowden cable to a support (4) has a hook (16) which fits through an aperture (18) in the support. A box mounted around this slides forward so that its lower side (14) fits into the aperture below the hook and wedges it in position. An Independent claim is included for a system for transmitting a movement including the mounting.
