PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable optical recording wherein recording can be performed with low power. SOLUTION: An optical recording medium has a recording layer 2 wherein a photocatalyst layer 4 is formed adjacently to an organic dyestuff layer 5. The photon mode recording of the recording medium is made possible by using a laser beam having short wavelength as a recording light beam to enable the recoding with low recording power. |
