<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-advancing machine, capable of conveying an apparatus required for work along an overhead line at the time of installing the overhead line between steel towers or inspecting the overhead line already installed. SOLUTION: Drum-shaped rollers 11 traveling on the overhead line are provided at fore and aft parts of a main frame 1 in the longitudinal direction, a clipping roller 31 supporting the overhead line from below, corresponding to the lower part of the respective drum-shaped rollers 11 for clipping is provided, so as to open and close to a side part from the lower part of the drum- shaped rollers 11, and so as to be fixed at the lower part of the drum-shaped rollers 11 with a lock means 32, a rope 19 for rotating and driving is hung over a driving pulley 15 provided over the main frame 1, and at least either one of a pair of the fore and aft drum-shaped rollers 11 is jointed with the driving pulley 15 via a rotation transmitting means 44.</p> |
