PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind power generating device safe for men and animals by reducing dangers, even when installing the device at a site such as a factory and a general dwelling house. SOLUTION: This wind power generating device 1 is provided with a windmill 5 rotatable by wind power and a power generator 3 generating power by rotation of the windmill 5. A sensor 7 is provided in the vicinity of the windmill 5. The sensor 7 senses an object when the object intrudes within a prescribed range of the windmill 5. A control device for controlling rotation of the windmill 5 based on an output of the sensor 7 is provided. When the sensor 7 senses that the object intrudes within the prescribed range of the windmill 5, the control device stops the windmill 5. |
