PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backup system capable of quickly and easily recovering any failure occurring in a program in a device in which the program. necessary for the operation is preliminarily stored in an ROM. SOLUTION: A backup ROM 10 for storing a backup program necessary for recovering any failure is provided separately from a main ROM 100 for storing a main program necessary for the operation of this device. At the time of recovering the failure, the main ROM 100 is switched to the backup ROM 10 by an ROM switcher 20 so that this device can be started. |
