The valve test procedure involves fixing valve to a test bench with a liquid inlet linked to the lower part of the valve chamber, which has a mobile component at the top. The chamber is filled with the liquid, and during at least a final filling phase, the air at the top of the chamber above the liquid and adjacent to the mobile component is drawn off, with the resistance to valve opening measured at different liquid pressures.
