PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner wherein dehumidification efficiency is improved, interrupting the occurrence of chatter sound on an opening/closing cover. SOLUTION: An opening/closing lid 12 freely swingably mounted in a suction grill 3' is used for opening and closing a lower portion 4d of a front surface blow-off outlet. The center of gravity of the lid 12 is located frontally of a perpendicular line from a rotary shaft 12a when the opening/closing lid is closed. Hereby, chattering sound can be prevented from occurring owing to vibration by pressing a lower end of the opening/closing lid on a front surface panel 3 with the self weight thereof when the opening/closing lid is closed. Further, the chattering sound can be likewise prevented from occurring owing to vibration by energyzing a lower end of opening/closing panel against the front panel with the aid of a coiled spring 7. |
