摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic bearing device that ensures a small battery capacity and a low-cost structure and realizes stable levitation during rotation via the arrangement of a circuit for removing a vibration of a frequency component synchronous with a rotational frequency by means of an encoder signal even during a service interruption. SOLUTION: A power unit of the magnetic bearing device has an AC/DC converter 3 for rectifying an output of a transformer 2 for transforming the voltage of a commercial AC power supply 1, and has a battery 4 charged with electric power from the AC/DC converter 3 except during a service interruption and for supplying the electric power to a magnetic bearing controller 6 and an encoder 13 during a service interruption. Upon a service interruption of the AC power supply input into the transformer 2, a service interruption detecting means 10 detects it, and according to the detection output of the service interruption detecting means 10, a battery operation switching means 11 operates to supply electric power to the magnetic bearing controller 6 and the encoder 13 via either the AC/DC converter 3 or the battery 4.
