PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member uniting means suitable for assembling furniture and the like, capable of easily attaching/detaching a union of members, simplifying steps of processing to the member as far as possible, and widely using a part wherein the uniting means is given for another purpose, in the case that a union is not required to be rigid in all directions. SOLUTION: Of members to be united, a first member 2 is provided with a groove 22 in which an elastically deforming deformation part 11a of a coupler 1 is disposed, and a second member 3 is provided with a hole 31 in which the coupler 1 is inserted. The coupler 1 is inserted in the hole 31 provided on the second member 3, and the deformation part 11a is disposed in the groove 22. Then the deformation part 11a is elastically deformed.
