PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in conventional cleaning work wherein there are a great number of anxious factors such as safety flaws of a worker and traffic disturbance to residents in the working area. SOLUTION: When a television camera and a high-pressure nozzle are inserted optionally into the inside of the manhole, monitoring can be carried out by means of the camera without opening a manhole lid. Operation can be carried out without any danger accompanying manhole lid opening operation or without causing any traffic disturbance. In this way, the manhole can be cleaned safely and easily maintained and managed, and consequently, various problems about cleaning the manhole can be solved. This system is applicable to all the manholes.
