PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin used for preventing the adhesion of aquatics to materials related to ocean civil engineering, such as underwater structures, fishing implements, the bottom of a ship, a waterway, a cooling system pipeline and a silt fence, and a cooling tower or the like, and a composition containing the resin, used for preventing the adhesion of aquatics. SOLUTION: The resin for preventing the adhesion of aquatics is characterized in that it comprises at least one of a polystyrene-polyethylene/butylenes- polystyrene copolymer resin, a polystyrene-polybutadiene-polystyrene copolymer resin, a polystyrene-polyethylene/propylene-polystyrene copolymer resin, a polystyrene-polyethylene-polypropylene copolymer resin, a polystyrene- polyisoprene-polystyrene copolymer resin, and a polystyrene-polybutadiene/ butylenes-polystyrene copolymer resin. The composition is characterized in that it contains the resin and a chemical effective for preventing the adhesion of aquatics.
