PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem with polypropylene that it tends to cause supercooling in cooling in a molding step although it is a crystalline polymer, with the result of forming a macrocrystal and losing transparency, and it takes a long time for molding because of slow rate of crystallization, while it undergoes oxidative deterioration very early due to the oxidizing catalytic action by copper in applications where it contacts metallic copper or the like, so that the addition of a specified additive is required in each case. SOLUTION: Since a diacylhydrazine compound having two diacylhydrazine groups (RCONHNHCOR) in the molecule is found to have an effect for preventing a damage to a polypropylene by copper, an action of generating a crystal nucleus (a nucleating agent action), and capability of enhancing the effectiveness of an antioxidant, the addition of the compound to a polypropylene can solve two kinds of the above-mentioned problems at the same time and can enhance the effectiveness of an antioxidant used therewith.
