PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer which can keep good focus characteristics in a periphery of a tube without generating distortion of dynamic focus parabola waveform due to horizontal frequency by using an inexpensive focus capacitor. SOLUTION: A focus voltage output end of a focus package part is provided with a capacitor 4 for superposing parabola waveform voltage in a dynamic focus electrode 5 of a tube 3. A parabola waveform voltage is supplied to the dynamic focus electrode 5 of the tube 3 through a capacitor 4. Metal (a metallic piece 12 and a metallic foil 13) is disposed around the capacitor 4 for shielding the capacitor 4. The distance between a metal and the capacitor 4 and the size thereof are made changeable.
