PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sticking system and sticking method effective in suppressing the generation of air bubbles in the case a sheet-like surface layer member is stuck to the surface of a flat panel for electrical display means. SOLUTION: The sticking system of superposing one end of a polarizing plate 11 on one end of a liquid crystal panel 10 and moving the liquid crystal panel 10 in the state of pressing the same by a pressurizing roller 44, thereby sticking the polarizing plate 11 to the liquid crystal panel 10 with tacky adhesives successively from one end to the other is constituted to perform the sticking by setting the liquid crystal panel 10 and the polarizing plate 11 in such a manner that the diagonal line connecting even angle sections parallels to a moving line P-P in sticking. As a result, the unit area load acting on panel alignment sections is made greater than that in an intermediate region at the beginning of the sticking and the end of the sticking.
