SKIRT APPARATUS OF CHUTE FOR SUPPLYING ARTICLE ON BELT CONVEYOR

PURPOSE: A skirt device for a chute of a belt conveyor is provided to prevent wear of a belt, and to extend the life span by installing a rubber skirt belt for crawling with being contacted on the upper surface of a carrier belt. CONSTITUTION: A chute(110) supplies articles to the upper part of a carrier belt(122) of a belt conveyor, and a skirt system closes the space between the chute and the carrier belt below the chute. A skirt box(112) is formed in the lower part of the chute, and a couple of support pulleys are installed at both sides of the skirt box with idling. A skirt belt(10) is installed in the support pulley, and moved on a caterpillar with being contacted on the upper surface of the carrier belt. Wear of the belt is prevented by mounting the rubber skirt belt.
