PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To timely provide suitable service corresponding to the using state of each printer. SOLUTION: The printer service information providing system is constituted of a user network(NW) 10 provided with a printer 11, information providing service 20 for collecting and processing prescribed information concerned with the printer 11 of the user NW 10 and a wide area NW 30 for connecting between the user NW 10 and the service 20. The user NW 10 has a means for monitoring the using state of the printer 11 and generating and outputting information corresponding to a monitored result, the service 20 has an information receiving server 21 for collecting and storing information from the user NW 10 and an information providing server 23 for providing the information collected and stored in the server 21 by a prescribed format and the user NW 10 has also an access means 14 for accessing the server 23 and acquiring the prescribed information concerned with the printer 11. |
